Cairo-dock, sama seperti to Mac OS X’s Dock, or Rocket Dock (Windows)

kompatibel dengan Compiz-Fusion, Beryl, Compiz, and also Xcompmgr, tapi bisa aja dijalankan tanpa composite manager (with fake transparency). Cairo-Dock dapat jalan juga di GNOME, KDE, and XFCE.

edit terlebih dahulu sources

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

tambahkan
deb http://repository.cairo-dock.org/ubuntu hardy cairo-dock
atau
deb http://repository.cairo-dock.org/ubuntu gutsy cairo-dock

terus jalankan
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plug-ins

jika berhasil, ada launcher di menu, dibawah sub menu “System”. Jika tidak ada , tekan  <ALT>+F2 dan ketik cairo-dock.
Untuk melihat nya,  backtraces, buka terminal dan ketik

cairo-dock disown

atau

ps aux | grep cairo-dock

  gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

• Tambahkan source :
